Canazei is on the centre of Valle di Fassa ( 1465 m elevation 1829 inhabitants) and is the paradise of skiing, thanks to its impressive mountains, to its access to the most famous Dolomite passes (Sella, Pordoi, Fedaia), to the nearness of the Marmolada. A tourist resort of great resources, with very modern ski-lifts and ski areas with artificially guaranteed snow. Near to Canazei is the the very famous "Tour of Four Passes"

• exit Ora/Egna: SS 48 Dolomite state road - San Lugano Pass - Val di Fiemme - Val di Fassa (distance km 45)

• exit Bolzano Nord: SS241 state road - Costalunga Pass - Val di Fassa (distance km 37)
