Canazei is on the centre of Valle di Fassa ( 1465 m elevation 1829 inhabitants) and is the paradise of skiing, thanks to its impressive mountains, to its access to the most famous Dolomite passes (Sella, Pordoi, Fedaia), to the nearness of the Marmolada. A tourist resort of great resources, with very modern ski-lifts and ski areas with artificially guaranteed snow. Near to Canazei is the the very famous "Tour of Four Passes"

The Winter School takes place at the Alba di Canazei Center of the University of Verona.
Alba di Canazei, Val di Fassais 1517 m of altitude and is at the foot of the Marmolada mountain.
