Application 2024

The number of PhD students participating to the School is limited to 40.

The deadline for applying is December 6th, 2023. We encourage early applications.

Admission will be communicated within two working days for early applicants.

PhD students’ selection is based on the presentation of a short CV  and (possibly) a paper to be attached to the online application. Use the link specified during the application process to do that. Selected papers proposed by participants will be presented during the school.

Accepted participants should then pay within 4 working days from acceptance (payment received before December 10th are strongly encouraged and will be given priority in treatment) following the payment options described in the application form.


        An additional limited number of places is reserved to junior and senior faculty members: please write to it_info@dse.univr.it  for information.

Participation fees for accepted applicants are:

    • Base: 400€ includes tuition, shuttle bus service Verona Verona-Canazei (leaving on Sunday, January 7th, 2024 in the afternoon and returning on Friday, January 12th 2024 in the morning) and the social dinner
    • Base + dinner: 500€ includes base registration plus dinner for all days
    • Base + dinner + accommodation: 730€ includes base registration plus double (or triple) room together with another participant and half half- board (breakfast and dinner).

Notice that Application are redirected to a website managed by LISER - Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research, one of the Winter School organizers. From the Application page use the "Apply here" button and follow the instructions. Successful applications will be notified by email and, if accepted, you will be invited to provide your details, including payment options, on a "Register here" form also managed by LISER. Fees will be collected by LISER and can be payed via pay-pal (credit card) or bank transfer upon receipt of the invoice.

If you pay by bank transfer please read the instructions specified in the "methods of payment" carefully.
